David Angell MA
David has worked in apps, digital marketing, SEO and communications since 2004. Notably, he was an award-winning member of the AdWords team at Google’s EMEA HQ, advising companies from SMEs to multinationals, and launched and managed Google’s UK programmes for Google Grants, Google Earth Outreach and the YouTube non-profit programme.
He ran Online Communications for former Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg prior to and through the 2010 General Election. Since then he has been a digital analytics and communications consultant for multiple people and organisations as Director of Wordsmith Digital.

Paul Emerton BA (Hons)
Paul is a client-facing technology transformation consultant and AI delivery lead with 22 years’ experience turning ambiguous commercial, operational and high-assurance technical problems into practical systems and measurable delivery plans. He works credibly from board and C-suite discovery through specification, proof of concept and implementation — while remaining hands-on enough to prototype, review code and diagnose systems at protocol and bit level, oscilloscope in hand.
For the last few years his focus has been generative AI: LLMs, RAG, agentic workflow automation and AI-accelerated software delivery — deciding where AI is genuinely appropriate, and moving initiatives from uncertainty to robust, governed delivery.
- CTO and technology lead for Phoenix51 — a complete multi-tenant Node.js / React / PostgreSQL SaaS platform on Microsoft Azure serverless.
- Private on-premises AI, RAG and model-orchestration architecture for luxury design and manufacturing.
- Recovered Safran aerospace & defence automatic test systems through legacy-code and bit-level communications analysis.
- Designed Torricel’s galvanically isolated cryptographic signing architecture — patent application filed.
- Founder and MD of Concept Television Studios since 2004 — broadcast automation, live streaming and media technology.
- Tech lover who codes, builds hardware projects — and still has a BBC Micro.
