Terms & Conditions
Agreement Term
All website plans are subject to a minimum 24-month agreement commencing from the date the completed website is delivered and goes live. The one-off setup fee is due upon order confirmation. Monthly payments are collected via Stripe on the same date each month.
After the Initial Term
After the initial 24-month term, your website continues on a monthly rolling contract. Three months' written notice is required to cancel. Your website does not expire, does not break, and does not require maintenance packages or rebuilding.
What's Included
Monthly fees include hosting, SSL certificate, domain registration or transfer (.co.uk), infrastructure maintenance, and uptime monitoring. All plans include SEO and AI optimisation, mobile responsive design, and secure static architecture.
Content & Migration
We migrate existing website content where applicable, preserve your domain, and protect your existing SEO structure. The client is responsible for providing or approving all written content, images, and branding assets used on the website. The optional Copywriting Workshop is available for businesses requiring content support.
Payment Failure
Payments are processed automatically via Stripe. In the event of a failed payment, Stripe will retry the card and you will receive reminder emails. A short grace period applies. If the account remains unpaid, the website will be temporarily suspended until payment is received, at which point it reactivates immediately. No manual intervention is required.
Scope of Service
This service covers professional static website design and build as described in the selected plan. It does not include custom web application development, e-commerce functionality, complex membership systems, or ongoing design revision cycles beyond the initial build. Requests outside the plan scope can be discussed separately.
Service Guarantee
We pride ourselves on uptime through reduction of technical dependence. However, if we identify downtime of more than 24 hours continuously, or any other issue, then we credit your account with 50% of one monthly fee, limited to up to once per month in full and final settlement.
Intellectual Property
The client retains ownership of all content, images, and branding assets provided for the website. SPAWN.LONDON retains ownership of the underlying code, architecture, and design templates. Upon termination and full settlement of all outstanding fees, the client may request a copy of the website files.
Changes & Revisions
After the initial build is complete and live, we can make upto 3 small changes per year Free of Charge (for example, adding a text offer, or re-wording a paragraph), or for more substantial changes, you can opt for a chargeable content workshop session. For Single Page websites, each workshop and change session is £150, payable as £37.50 per month over four months on top of the existing monthly fee. For Multi Page websites, content workshop session and changes are charged at £75 per page changed, also payable over four months on top of the existing monthly fee. A change session covers a defined batch of updates agreed in advance. Emergency or ad-hoc requests outside a scheduled change session may be subject to an additional charge.
Cancellation
Early termination within the 24-month agreement period requires payment of the remaining monthly fees for the balance of the term. After the initial term, cancellation requires three months' written notice. Website files can be provided upon request following cancellation and settlement of any outstanding balance.
